Da Nian Chu yi~!

Happy chinese new year everyone~! but this year don't seem to have the chinese new year mood..maybe I have been so busy lately..that I've hardly noticed the decorations. everytime go school..then come back home..and back again..I just found out my life has turned out quite routine..

Yep..It's new year's day..haha..finally I had a chance to slack and sleep late. Lol..and eat new year goodies~! mmmm.. haha..But this year we won't be doing much visiting though. Today just visited 2 houses..my paternal grandma's hse..and my maternal grandma's hse. Didn't get much red packets lo..only about 7? Then I left to City hall to meet Yn to go to chun dao he pan. Haha..

As usual la..even though I was late..she was later then I was. yea..then we walked to chun dao he pan. We tried to sqqeze ourselves in the crowd to take a look at the rides. wanted to sit the meterorite..to treat it as a Warm up Ride for our up coming reverse bungee jump..hahaha..but we decided to wait for ming quan instead. So we walked around..seeing how game vendors cheat ppl into playing their games that the players can never win. lol..hanging up big big winnie the pooh soft toys and other stuffs. haha.. then we saw a staff at the fun fair manually pushing a tea cup kiddy ride to keep the business going..haha..poor him..and poor kids who were riding the teacups...cheap thrill..haha..pathetic. Then we walked back to the rides to meet ming quan..haha.. then he told us he can't take such rides...then in the end we continued to walk around.. the place. Yn didn't know there was a river nearby so we walked along the river to let her see..haha.. then we walked past a satue of God of Fortune. Everyone was crowding around it..waiting for it to sprinkle down golden powder. haha..maybe they think that by touching it will bring u good luck and fortune? haha..but it was to such an extent that we saw a person holding an umbrella upside down waiting for it to sprinkle down the golden powder. When the statue really sprinkled the powder..we saw more umbrellas up on every one's head.. trying to collect those things as much as poosible..wahaha.. Ming quan Said it looked like a scene from black hawk down. For me..if I were to take a picture from above..I think I can labelled the picture "Tsunami Victims" ..portray it as an irony..lol..

then we continued to walked around..I mistook chinese decorations sold there for handphone neck straps...ahaha.. then we got out..and we headed for esplanade. I was quite hungry..so I wanted to see wat the esplanade has...haha..as we're about to walk out of the esplanade..we heard loud sounds of explosion. wahaha! fireworks! Just behind us..then we rushed to the river side to watch the fireworks go off.. I finally got see fireworks after 2 failed attempts! haha..one was during Yn's birhtday..the other was during the esplanade art performances.. both events I brought a camera along with me..but today..I didn't bring my camera with me! haix..just when u dun intend or expect to see fireworks..it appears right in front of u. haha.. but very lucky le.. ^_^

Then we went to thai express to eat..hmm..not bad la..everything there was thai lo.. luckly the things there not very spicy or hot..or i'll be sweating like mad. wahaha..then after that we decided to walk to city hall along the roads instead of using the underpass. haha..then turned out taht we walked one big round before getting to the station.. hehe..I wasn't paying attention to the roads too ...i was just walking and talking...lol..
