The last concert.. a standing ovation

I remembered it was almost a year ago I stood at the stage of SCH with 19 other people..all I remembered was that we put up a good show at that stage.. we didn't get we want though.. it doesn't matter..

I could recall myself plucking the life out of my guitar strings while playing farucca..

The tune of the nocturne is still humming in my head..

A year after.. I was at the stage.. the other side of the stage that is.. listening to the juniors playing the pieces we have already placed deep inside our hearts..

so familar.. so sweet..

so SYF.. =P

I went back to Yj to attend their Arts fest concert.. yea..and guitar ensemble had a huge chunk of the entire performance that day.. The first half of the concert belonged to the guitar ensemble. Went to Yj with shou yen.. saw the old faces.. Miss Tan! and Ms Chua a.k.a Mrs Tan! haha.. saw harris! saw samuel! saw qi lin!! saw Marissa!! as usual..u can see marissa's excited face..haha.. so glad she was the next owner of NA-6.. my beloved alto guitar.. haha.. good to see it and her again.. haha.. They were practicing some pieces.. not bad sia.. then I met Hung Long..Eugene..Jia Yong.. haha.. had a good talk on the army days.. =P oh ya..I also met Ker ling and Boon kiat too..who just came to Yj and left soon after.. hmm ..

I had a chance to see the J1 members.. for a moment I was quite shock to see the numbers.. it's really quite a huge number.. then when the J2 and J1s were taking a group photo.. I had problems squeezing all of them in!! haha.. so many ppl! I can't believe The Ensemble has grew to such a number! For a moment I was astonished..

Then for dinner.. I saw like 10 stacks of pizza on the canteen table.. I remembered Ms Chua used to Order like 4 or 5 for us last year when we stayed late for practices.. now it seems that we have more mouths to feed le.. lol..

Had alot of pictures taken.. took one with marissa and NA-6.. memories..

then comes the performance.. haha.. the J2 were good..and miss tan and ms chua looked funny with the small guitar!! haha.. then Samuel, claire, harris, Marissa and Qi lin played lady Di ..Eugene and hung long were all so happy to hear that piece..

"aww man.. I use to play the solo!"
"I used to play the contrabass!"
"I used to play the alto!!!"

it was so good that we decided to be a little bit thick skin and gave them a standing ovation!! wahaha.. Hai my did a solo.. he's a real promising J1..very skillful.. they did well..so did the J1s.. a great performance overall!

I left halfway..after the guitar ppl finished their part.. I left them a note too..hope it was not too mushy or something.. =P

Miss u guys! You all are God's most precious gift to me in my College days.. and I hope it'll stay that way forever..
