The Torture

it's my first time going for a check up in a hospital since the time when I had chest pain when I was young. This time i went to check my eye. From then on..I had a bad impression on Tan tock Seng Hospital..(TTSH). I wouldn't want to get sick anymore.

My mother was worried that I might get lost in the hospital or screw up in finding my venue point. Over worried mother la..haix. She took half a day leave for tt appointment. In the end..She herself remembered the appointment time wrongly. I got there at 3..she tot it was 4..haix. let's cut the crap about the waiting part..really had nth to do while waiting. Yea..finally it's my turn to see the doc. by the way..lol..Im seeing a doctor to check on my eye..its always been red for abt a year now..so it's abt time to consult a doctor...

eh?? Wat's Up doc? hehe..The doctor is a female doctor! keke..kinda cute..oh..but that rough side soon showed later..LOl..hmmm..first she examine my eye..shone that torch on my eyes..was quite glaring..asked me to look left..look right..look up..look down. Lol..when she asked me to look up..My first reaction was to tilt my head up instead of rolling my eyes upwards! haha..then the doctor could look at my eye!! lol..that wasn't da factor that pissed her off. The doc gave me eye drops to dilate my pupils so that they can been examined clearly..and boy was the eye drops stinging! I've hadn't applied such stinging eye drops for years! later I had to rest my chin onto some device..where the doctor can look at a magnified image of my eye so she could see clearly. The beam of light emitting into my eye was so glaring! there was a point where she told be to look to my right and I had to withstand the glaring beam shining directly on my eye. so i started to feel uneasy and shifted my head sideways to try to avoid the beam. damn..then the doctor told me to cooperate and ordered a nurse to place my head at the right position. and she kept holding my head there..I can't move...so pai seh..keke..

After tt..she said, " ok..im gonna check yur eye pressure..now just rest your chin on this thing and i'll use this device to touch your eye to get a reading." Oh mY God! What did u said??? TOUCH my EYE? tt was the worse part..I kept blinking my eye when i saw something approached to my eye slowly..then the doctor kept asking me to relax..argh doh..something foreign is trying to touch yur eye u noe! how can u expect me not to blink! while the doctor was trying her best to 'poke' my eye..the doctor at the other room was talking to a nurse, " this patient's eyes are getting worse..it has been bleeding for a very long time..and I guess..bla bla" Wow..wat a nice time to hear such things huh? one moment my doctor is trying to 'poke' my eye..on another hand Im hearing things like..the guy's eye was bleeding! argh..a sense of nervousness soon built up. then in the end she was so fed up..she tried to use a second method to keep my eyes open..I forgot how the second method works..but it sure sucks! then in the end she had to use the last method..someone had to keep my eyes open while the doctor tries to use a thermometer like device to 'poke' yur eye to get a reading. In the end I manage to get it done..lol..keke..

"ok..I'll give u some eye drops and some cleaning pads for yur eye lids..you'll have to come back some other day to get yur eyes examine again." *GASP*! Im not going back again...
